Fast-growing Medical Valley/Xiromed seeks a Drug Safety Associate: hands-on PV in a lean team in Höllviken, supporting Nordic markets and helping make medicines more sustainable.

Our Swedish organisation consists of around 25 colleagues with an open, entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset. We work close to the business and are now looking for a Drug Safety Associate / Specialist to join our Pharmacovigilance organisation. This is a new position.
About the Role
This is a hands-on PV role, ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, structure, and working in a lean organisation where things move quickly. You will report to the Regional Pharmacovigilance Manager and work in a small local PV team in Höllviken, as part of a global PV organisation with colleagues in Spain and India.
The environment is dynamic, and you’ll need to learn quickly, take ownership, and deliver with consistently high quality.
Key Responsibilities
· Monitor and manage the Safety Mailbox
· Collect and exchange safety information
· Reconcile safety data
· Screen local literature for safety-relevant information
· Manage medical information requests
· Compile data and review aggregate reports
Who You Are
Required
· BSc/MSc in Pharmacy, Life Science or equivalent
· 2+ years of experience in Pharmacovigilance in a similar role
· Fluent in Swedish and English
· Based in Skåne with the ability to commute to Höllviken
Experience & knowledge (important in this role)
· Previous experience in safety data collection, local literature screening and managing medical information requests
· Demonstrated ability to work within and maintain compliance with a Quality Management System, including documentation, audits, deviations and CAPAs and process improvements
· Strong understanding of PV regulations
· Experienced user of Microsoft office
Meritorious
· Additional Nordic or European languages (e.g., Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Dutch, German)
